Traumatic live events comprise the etiology of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). PTSD patients are known to face adverse impacts on their mental and physical health. Symptoms concern relating include heightened anxiety levels, intrusive memories, nightmares, problems with sleeping. Disrupted sleep leads exhausted brain function that impedes daily activities individuals perceived quality life. Therefore, researchers have sought examine interventions help improve circadian rhythms. Recently, blue-light therapy has been target clinical research understand its role in alleviating symptoms. Results from trials showed receiving blue light significant reductions daytime sleepiness fatigue. Furthermore, these faster reaction times greater phase advances rhythms, leading earlier onset at night. As we work towards focusing our attention addressing health issues, investigating benefits non-pharmacological such as can outcomes patients.
